Edited by Pavan. Friday, October 28, AM. Monday, January 16, AM. Works for failed network connections, too. No internet, no backlight regulation, no scroll function on my touchpad and a big fat access denied on my external disk drives. The last thing reminded me of a problem I got when I accidentally disabled the Pointsec services and I was a bit shocked when I opened the services list:.

All my services were disabled, except for some mandatory and protected services. After searching a bit on the internet, the only solutions I found were running the Microsoft Safety Scanner and manually re-enabling all services.

So I quickly wrote myself a little batch file which would re-set all default Windows 7 SP1 services to their default value:. Many blessings to you for having this and leaading me to BlackViper. I could not get your batch file to work; but the BlackViper configuration file worked like a charm.

I really appreciate that you provided the BlackViper information. Again, many blessings to you and the people who matter to you. You are savior man. I spent nearly a day resolving around the services disabled issue. The black viper script seems to helped it.

Nice script it worked. I prefer this script to merge reg file. Hello all, have the same problem as the initial one with almost all services disabled. Enabled many by hand but I am not sure what I have done.

I am on the Internet but my Network and Audio Speaker symbol in the system tray still are crossed out. Any image, link, or discussion of nudity. Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Greetings, Anusha, I've tried to do the 1st and 2nd steps, I've tried even to download the drivers manualy and that didn't helped at all. And it's Windows 7 Ultimate. But there's another problem. My microphone is plugged in, but in recording devices it shows that my microphone is not plugged in. I'm desperate I have only null knowledge when it comes to stuffs like this so can somebody please help me??

I possibly cant use my computer without any sound. I struggled for days trying to get my Windows 7 x64 to recognise my digital optical output connection but without success. I tried the usual stuff, including updating my audio driver but it kept on telling me the installed driver was correct and up to date.

Somewhat in desperation I went to the Realtek site to download drivers afresh and noted the advice from Realtek to preferentially download them from the manufacturer of the motherboard. So I went to Gigabyte, found my specific motherboard and downloaded the most up to date audio drivers. Then did a manual rather than automatic search on my computer for a driver update. Thank you very much for your reply but i have luckily solved my problem. Answering your questions, yes it does not produce any sound at all, it literally does not produce a sound.

Later on i found out that my audio jack was broken, so my sister fixed it and said that inside the cpu it was a little loose. And that the front jack of the cpu is broken so just plugged the one in the back which is the one that is said to be loose, oh and there was no particular problem with the audio drivers.

I'm keep looking for a answer for my question but I can't find one in any of submited topics. I've installed new drivers from realtek. I've plugged my laptop with the same speakers to check if the problem is not a speakers, but they work fine.
