In the next dialog, make sure that the Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically radio buttons are selected. The next step you can take is to try disabling the network card and then enabling it again. You can do this by clicking on start and typing ncpa. Right-click on the network card and choose Disable.
Once disabled, just right-click again and choose Enable. When you do this, you have to restart your computer and Windows will reinstall the network card automatically.
